15 Years of Hanoi Re – Creating sustainable value through meaningful actions

In celebration of Hanoi Re’s 15th anniversary, the Hanoi Re Happiness Fund, in collaboration with the Hanoi Re Youth Union, launched a community support program in Lung Pu Commune, Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province. The initiative aims to help improve learning and living conditions for students in remote mountainous areas, where access to clean water remains a significant challenge.

With the generous support of Hanoi Re’s Management Board, employees, business partners, and benefactors, the program successfully raised nearly VND 200 million to fund several essential projects, including:

• Construction of a 90m³ water storage tank for Lung Pu Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School;
• Construction of a 30m³ water storage tank for Lung Pu Kindergarten;

• Installation of five 1,000-liter stainless steel water tanks to support daily water usage.

On 15 June 2026, the project officially commenced in the presence of representatives from both schools and local authorities, marking the beginning of a long-term initiative that will benefit thousands of students and teachers in the area.

For many people, access to clean water is a basic part of everyday life. However, in Lung Pu—one of the most disadvantaged highland communes in Ha Giang Province—every cubic meter of clean water stored represents a valuable resource for education and daily living. Reliable access to clean water provides students with a safer, healthier, and more hygienic learning environment, while also easing the daily challenges faced by teachers dedicated to educating children in remote communities.

Each water tank constructed and every storage facility installed represents far more than a physical infrastructure project. They embody the spirit of solidarity, compassion, and collective commitment shared by Hanoi Re and its partners. Through initiatives such as these, Hanoi Re Happiness Fund serves as a bridge that extends this spirit of giving, transforming goodwill into practical actions that support communities in need.

While 15 years is a milestone worth celebrating, it is also the beginning of a new journey. Looking ahead, Hanoi Re remains committed to supporting the community and creating sustainable value—not only through business growth but also through meaningful contributions that bring positive and lasting change to society.
