Hanoi Re deploys emergency aid for Central Vietnam flood and storm recovery (Storm no.12, 13)

Hanoi Reinsurance Joint Stock Corporation (Hanoi Re) has activated its emergency support program to assist communities in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands regions severely impacted by Typhoons No. 12 and 13 and subsequent widespread flooding.

Demonstrating its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the assistance was channeled through the Hanoi Re Happiness Fund to facilitate recovery and stabilization efforts:

  • Hanoi Re Happiness Fund donated VND 15,000,000 each to the provinces of Gia Lai and Đắk Lắk, delivered via the local Fatherland Front Committees, to aid residents in rebuilding homes and restoring livelihoods.
  • Targeted support was also extended to the family of a Hanoi Re staff member in Quang Ngai one of the areas worst hit by the natural disaster.

A company representative stated: "These contributions are a sincere effort from our staff to help the affected communities and our extended employee families. We aim to play a role in helping Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands expedite their recovery."

Hanoi Re’s swift response underscores its strong tradition of corporate philanthropy and its commitment to accompanying the community through challenging times, extending beyond its core business operations.
