Post and Telecom Insurance cooperates with a Korean bank
On May 24th, Post and Telecommunication Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PTI) officially signed partnership agreement with Woori Bank Vietnam Limited (Woori Bank) in order to mutually develop insurance products.
According to the agreement, PTI cooperates with Woori bank in creating and developing insurance products for the clients’ demand, especially for Korean clients’. Woori bank commits to prioritize applying and introducing insurance products of PTI to their customers.

PTI will provide for Woori Bank insurance products with privileged benefits and the finest services on the market. Both parties stimulate using products and services from each other in order to broaden the market and increase investment profit simultaneously. They expect an effective cooperation to provide better customer service, expand customer network and increase cross-selling.
PTI and Woori Bank also collaborate to implement diversified marketing plan for their products and services in order to promote their brand names over the market.
PTI’s leader stated that with the comprehensive support of their strategic shareholder – the second largest insurer in Korea – Dongbu Insurance Company, PTI will assuredly provide the best products and services on the market for Woori Bank’s clients
By the end of the first quarter of 2017, South Korea ranks first among 71 foreign countries having Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Vietnam with the total investment of USD 3.74 billion, accounting for 48.6% total investment in Vietnam. The number of Koreans living and working in Vietnam is considerable, around 140 thousands people (according to the statistics of Ministry of Planning and Investment). Therefore, it can be said that the partnership agreement between PTI and Woori bank promisingly creates a distribution channel of complete Banking – Financial Services – Insurance for Korean customers in Vietnam.
