Spring Journey 2026: Connecting – Honoring – Reaching Beyond in Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang

Combining site visits, historical commemoration, and the launch of production and business emulation initiatives
From February 27 to March 1, 2026, Hanoi Re organized its annual Spring Journey program, which integrated field survey with community engagement activities in Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang. This initiative, held at the beginning of each year, is designed to strengthen internal cohesion, enhance practical knowledge in support of professional expertise, and at the same time reinforce corporate social responsibility and the enduring tradition of “remembering the source of the water we drink.”

On-site visit to Na Hang Hydropower Plant: Enhancing understanding of critical infrastructure projects
The delegation visited and conducted a field study at the Na Hang Hydropower Plant – one of the key energy infrastructure projects in the northern mountainous region.

At the site, participants were introduced to the project’s scale and its strategic role in safeguarding national energy security, as well as the technical characteristics, operational requirements, and risk management practices specific to the hydropower sector. This hands-on experience provided Hanoi Re’s staff with comprehensive practical insights into infrastructure projects – strategic asset classes that holds significant importance in the Company’s business operations.
 

Incense Offering Ceremony at Vi Xuyen Martyrs’ Cemetery: Honoring history, nurturing national pride
As part of the program, the Hanoi Re delegation solemnly held a ceremony to offer incense at Vi Xuyen Martyrs’ Cemetery – the resting place of heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives to defend every sacred inch of the Fatherland. In the serene atmosphere of the borderland mountains and forests, the incense sticks lit by the delegation were not only a gesture of profound gratitude but also a reminder that today’s peace has been secured at the cost of the blood and bones of countless generations before us. Each participating staff member paused in reverence, paying heartfelt tribute and expressing deep appreciation to those who “clung to the rocks to fight the enemy, and in death became immortal stone.”
 

On this occasion, Hanoi Re organized a program to honor veterans who had once fought at the Vi Xuyen front, presenting them with meaningful gifts funded by the Company’s Happiness Fund. In addition, the delegation carried out a ceremonial tree-planting activity within the cemetery grounds.

These gestures not only embodied the moral principle of “remembering the source of the water we drink” but also powerfully evoked the spirit of national pride, a sense of responsibility, and the aspiration to contribute among every member of Hanoi Re. By continuing this tradition, the Company reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the nation.
 

Visiting the Northernmost Tip of the Country at Lung Cu Flag Tower
The journey continued as the delegation traversed the winding roads characteristic of the rocky plateau, with the highlight being Tham Ma Pass – a serpentine slope nestled amidst majestic mountains, where each curve revealed a vast and awe-inspiring landscape.

Setting foot in the Lung Cu Flag Tower – the sacred northernmost landmark of the nation – under the fluttering red flag with its golden star against the borderland sky, every participant felt a profound sense of national pride and a deep awareness of sovereignty.
 

With a bird’s-eye view, the peaceful Lo Lo Chai village lay quietly at the foot of the mountain, standing out as a unique cultural accent amid the grandeur of the gray rocky terrain. The moment of standing at the frontier of the Fatherland was not only a memorable experience but also one that awakened resilience, steadfast determination, and the aspiration to rise higher – values that accompany Hanoi Re on its journey to conquer new peak.

Gala 2026: Proud of History – Building the Next Peak
The Gala evening unfolded in a solemn yet emotionally rich atmosphere under the theme “Proud of History – Building the Next Peak.” The program reviewed and highlighted the milestones and outstanding achievements of 2025, recognizing the dedication and contributions of exceptional teams and individuals, thereby reaffirming pride in the journey already accomplished.

The event was further enlivened by the Lucky Draw awards and cultural exchange performances featuring local traditions, creating a vibrant atmosphere of connection and spreading positive energy. Concluding the Gala, the Company’s Leadership officially launched the 2026 business emulation campaign, calling upon all employees to continue upholding tradition, striving for breakthroughs, and collectively conquering new “peaks” in Hanoi Re’s development journey.
 

Concluding the program with profound and lasting impressions, each destination and each activity was not only a meaningful experience but also a contribution to nurturing responsibility, national pride, and the will to rise higher within the collective of Hanoi Re staff.
